1. Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals who hold a current New Jersey Notary Public commission or who are actively pursuing one. Members must accurately provide all requested information during registration.
2. Membership Period
Membership is valid for one year from the date of enrollment unless stated otherwise in a promotional offer. Renewal is required to maintain access to member benefits.
3. Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
• Uphold all New Jersey notary laws and regulations.• Avoid providing legal advice or services that constitute the unauthorized practice of law.• Conduct themselves professionally within all NJNA platforms and events.• Keep their membership information accurate and up to date.• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members.
4. Use of Member Resources
Access to educational content, forums, events, directories, and other NJNA materials is for personal professional use only. Redistribution, copying, or commercial use of NJNA resources without written permission is prohibited.
5. Code of Conduct
Members must participate respectfully in all NJNA spaces. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or misuse of the platform may result in suspension or termination of membership.
6. Forum Participation
Members may seek guidance, share experiences, and offer general support in the member forum. Responses must not include legal advice. NJNA reserves the right to moderate posts that violate notary law, privacy, or the code of conduct.
7. Professional Limitations
NJNA is not a law firm and cannot provide legal advice. Information provided through NJNA publications, events, or forums is for general educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal guidance.
8. Fees and Refunds
Membership fees are nonrefundable except in cases of administrative error. NJNA may modify membership pricing with advance notice.
9. Termination of Membership
NJNA may suspend or revoke membership for violations of these terms, misuse of resources, or conduct that harms the organization or its members. Members may cancel their membership at any time, though fees will not be refunded.
10. Updates to Terms
NJNA may update these terms as needed. Continued membership after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
